This versatile coat saw extensive use amongst civilians and the military. Made as standard from a 12oz, unbleached white cotton canvas duck, the coat is only supplied unlined. It has a three piece body construction with one piece sleeves, fitted with two large patch pockets with flaps and five large wooden buttons. It is quite long, finishing well below the knee, it has a split rear seam from the small of the back to the bottom of the coat (to enable the coat to be worn on horse back) which is reinforced with a leather tab. Options, at no extra cost, are brown corduroy collar and pocket flaps. Our Duster is based on the one worn by Kevin Costner in the film 'Wyatt Earp'.
We recently made a large number of these for the current Pepsi commercial 'Shoot Out at the OK Corral' , they were mainly worn by the Real Madrid football team.

Shown is the 7 button tunic for the 24th Regiment of Foot (South Wales Borderers) c.1879 which was worn for 'Home Service' All the features of the jackets are the same as the originals. All the lace and linings are to original grade specification. Price includes two collar Sphinxes, hook and eyes and sword/belt hook support. These superb replica's are made with wool supplied by Abimilech Hainsworth who have been supplying the British Army since 1800.

CTNB600 Cut Away Frock Coat
This was made for one of our favourite customers from the US. It is a combination of Tailcoat and frockcoat worn during the transitional period between regency and early Vicotrian.

This one is shown in Green wool, with green velvet collar and buttons. Its main features are the large collar and the flared sleeve cuff.

A typical Officers vest made to a period pattern in a burgundy floral silk effect cloth, the back of the waistcoat is made from cream satin with lace-up adjustment at the rear. Gangs of New York
We were recently asked by one of our customers to recreate the character of Bill The Butcher from the Martin Scorsese film 'Gangs of New York'. This was straightforward enough to do as we make everything he wears anyway!
Finished off with our new Stovepipe Top Hat, the single breasted frockcoat, double breasted Mississippi waistcoat and civilian trousers look a treat! All these items are available in the American West Section .
