Our version of a typical 'Roundabout' of this period, we make ours with 12 buttons at the front and a plain 1,1/2" high collar. The jacket is 6 piece construction and features a 'plain cuff fitted with two buttons.
As these were usually a private purchase and there are many different versions of these jackets surviving we will happily make this jacket to a different specification for you.
If you wish to change the specification you can!!
You choose whether you want an exterior side pocket and or fully functioning cuffs! If you wish you can add branch of service coloured cuff and or collars, branch of service coloured piping and then finally your size!

All our Federal Shell Jackets come complete with the relevant rank insignia at no extra cost. Our Officers Single Breasted Shell Jackets are fitted with 12 buttons to the front and 3 to the sleeve cuffs, and is made from a high quality Abimilech Hainsworth military grade.
The jacket is fully lined in a quality polished cotton as per originals and an interior document pocket is fitted as standard.

You choose whether you want fully functioning cuffs! If you wish you can add branch of service coloured cuff and or collars, Austrian knots, branch of service coloured piping, your rank, your button choice and then finally your size!

The checkout will work out the total cost but to make it easier we have listed all the price options next to the choices.

An authentic period pattern produces this quality brown or black oilskin coat (also available in white cotton canvas). It is quite long, finishing well below the knee, it has a split rear seam from the small of the back to the bottom of the coat (to enable the coat to be worn on horseback) which is reinforced with a leather tab.
