Probably the most common vest of the period, supplied as standard with four exterior pockets, six wooden, bone or pearl buttons, which we choose dependant on the fabric used. Supplied in your choice of plain or tweed wool with polished cotton lining as standard. All our vests are fitted with period adjustable buckle at the rear.
Satin lining, velvet collar, pocket tabs and silk tape finishing to edges, all available as extras.

CT2056a Double Breasted Oilskin Duster Coat
An authentic period pattern produces this quality brown or black oilskin coat (also available in white cotton canvas). It is quite long, finishing well below the knee, it has a split rear seam from the small of the back to the bottom of the coat (to enable the coat to be worn on horseback) which is reinforced with a leather tab.

Made from 100% quality cotton, this frill necked shirt has eyelets around the neck opening which allow the shirt to be drawn closed. The cuffs have a 4 inch frill as well and are closed with pearl buttons, an excellent gentleman's shirt. Napoleonic period fall front trousers, one of the 'standard' military trousers of the time made in grey hainsworth wool. Ideal for British regiments.

CT9001 18th Century Gentlemans Frock Coat
This is just one of our versions of an Eighteenth century Gentleman's coat, using a quality plain wool from the Hainsworth range. Also shown is a 'typical of the period' long silk waistcoat which is available separately.
We have used a brass effect floral button with this coat, we endeavour to use the most appropriate buttons for each individual garment.

These were made for clients who re-enact the Light Company of Loyal Newport Volunteers. Made from a top quality Hainsworth wool, the clients supplied their own buttons and epaulettes and the price does not include these items. We cannot easily obtain individual regimental buttons so we fit a generic brass or pewter button as standard.
