Welcome to our new site which replaces The Sutlers Stores site, most of you will know me from my 11 years of researching, replicating, designing and

making authentic replica uniforms and costumes for the Sutlers Stores;

which sadly closed in 2010. 19th Century Tailoring was actually our original name so we have reverted back to it for the future.

We now have a smaller workshop which is fully equipped to enable us to offer a complete Replica Authentic, Uniform Tailoring Service to Re-enactors, Collectors, Museums, Theatres, Film and Television Companies. We are not offering any of the accessories that were previously sold, there are other suppliers who carry stocks that you can contact.

Any tailored item that was previously available on the Sutlers Stores website can now be ordered from us through this website or by telephone or mail order as before. There are many new items that will be added including a brand new 'Steam Punk' range of clothing
