Dispute with Ebay April 23rd 2008

We regret that we are unable to take you to our Ebay store because it has been taken off line by Ebay due to, in their words "an unacceptable level of customer satisfaction"!

Apparently we had 1 negative feedback out of 52 in the last 30 days, the Ebay customer says they were sent the wrong size of whatever they ordered. As is our usual policy we offered the customer a full refund or to have the correct size sent to them, whichever they preferred. The customer did not bother to reply to us instead they left us a negative feedback. Our Life Time Summary is 52 Positives and 2 Negatives and our positive feedback is 96.3%. It is worth mentioning that the other negative feedback was also offered a full refund but once again they did not respond. See our Ebay stats by Clicking Here

Ebays rules say that if a seller has more than 5% negative feedback then their site will be suspended, however our percentage is 4.17% so we shouldn't have had our site removed.

We are fully supportive of Ebay ensuring that buyers are given the best service possible, we have all had bad experiences of buying things on-line but it also must be understood that sellers have rights too but not on Ebay apparently.

Despite having emailed Ebay on several ocassions they have not had the decency to reply with any detail to us as to why they have taken this course of action.

This happened yesterday (April 22nd) just after we had listed a number of new items for which they have taken the money for listing despite the fact that we cannot now show you these items.

We paid a visit to some Ebay forum sites and it would appear that Ebay have taken this approach to a number of traders without good reason.

So please accept our apologies for not being able to provide this service, we are continuing to try and speak with someone from Ebay but it appears that they are reluctant to actually talk to their customers and after all we are customers of Ebay too!

If any of you feel strongly about Ebay bullying their customers in this way it may help us if you write an email to complain about their high handed attitude. Please Click Here to be be taken to their contact page, from here you still have to make another click or two to actually get to place where you can email them but that is one of the problems with Ebay they don't seem to want to talk, listen or explain anything to their customers!
