Dear Nancy,
Just a note to let you know that the fittings went very well last week. We didn’t have the pleasure of fitting our policeman (visa hold up) but all the rest of the uniforms were fitted with success.
Apart from minor tweakings, which are to be expected, everything looked grand. The gussets worked, the padded guy looked great.
I hope that we can work together again on future projects. Please find cheque enclosed.

Sutlers Stores supply costumes and accoutrements for new UK film project "Curses & Sermons"

Shooting finished on August 12th after many problems including Foot & Mouth and incredible Floods on location. The film stars; Philip Bulcock (The Cowboy) and Kasia Halpin (The Star).

Other cast members include Melanie Rook, Vanessa Parade, Nicola Kelleher, Poppy Antoniades and Becky Paul.

The crew includes Sam Edwards (Director of Photography), John Hargreaves (Pyrotechnics), Amy Rogers (Hair and Make Up) and Marc Hankins (Stills Photography). Original music is being composed by Steven Hackshaw. The film is being produced by the Company in association with Rebecca Preston and is directed by Nic Saunders.

The film is being shot primarily at Northwood Studios in London with location work across the South of England.

We are extremely proud to have supplied this large order of Musician's Uniforms for The Duke of Lancaster's 34th Regiment of Foot.

It is their uniform from 1811 and we understand it will be worn on parade when the Regiment returns from its tour of duty in Iraq.

Nancy & Richard attended at the 60th Cannes Film Festival to meet with designers and producers. These meetings will lead to exciting new projects during the coming years.

Sutlers Stores as Corporate Members of The Museums Association exhibited at the Museums and Heritage Show in Earls Court May 8th - 11th.

It was Nancy & Richard's first time at this show and the response from Museum Curators was amazing with orders arriving on the morning of our return from London!
